I like reading novels, but I am terrible at writing them. My biggest weakness as a writer is to beautifully or appropriately express my or someone else's feelings. And the root of this weakness is a lack of vocabulary aimed at this task. Better to say it is forgetting their existence during the writing, and if I try, it turns into some gobbledygook. That's why I choose to write about complex topics relying on logic rather than morality. An essay with CEC (Claim, Evidence, Commentary) structure is my biggest strength so far.
I understand that I can't keep avoiding this issue. Initially, for my senior capstone project, I wanted to choose something like "How history classes will cause future conflicts". I came up with this in a couple of days based on my own experience. Living on both sides of the already broken but not still impactful Iron Curtain, I saw that no history classes that are taught in schools are objective. However, I am not a historian, and I haven't taken any advantage of history classes to judge them. That's why I want to choose a new topic based not only on my strengths, but also on what will make me a better writer.
